KOKUYOSA 2026, the second North America International Yosakoi Festival, takes place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, centered on the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge, Alberta. Admission is free — everyone is welcome.
Getting here
Lethbridge is about a 2-hour drive south of Calgary on Highway 2, and Lethbridge Airport (YQL) is just 8 km away. Free parking is available on site.
What to expect
Vibrant yosakoi performances by teams from Japan, the United States and Canada on a single main stage, a sō-odori finale where dancers and audience move together, hands-on workshops, plus local Lethbridge vendors and live performances by local artists.

日本・アメリカ・カナダのチームによる演舞をひとつのメインステージで。踊り子と観客がともに踊る総踊り、体験ワークショップに加え、地元レスブリッジのベンダーや地元アーティストによるパフォーマンスもお楽しみいただけます。
