Ōzora JCAM Yosakoi was born in Winnipeg in 2026, founded after a KOKUYOSA naruko workshop held at the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba in April. Manitoba’s first yosakoi team makes its festival debut at KOKUYOSA 2026 — living proof that yosakoi is taking root across Canada, one city at a time.
